Welcome to MaGerk’s Pub and Grill, formerly known as the “Bent Elbo Tavern”,  a local neighborhood bar and grill.  This restaurant is the third venture stemming from two other successful locations in Maryland.  This location is a homecoming for the owners who are all from the greater Philadelphia area.  MaGerk’s is designed to be a “sports pub with good grub”.  We will continue serving our signature cheese steaks along with several menu items with a Baltimore flavor.  MaGerk’s will have live entertainment in a casual dining atmosphere several times throughout the week, as well as boasting over 30 T.V.’s on which to watch the Eagles games.

Originating in 1867, the old Fortside Inn became a landmark in its time. It was a watering hole for local socialites boasting a large fireplace where the stage now stands. The building has stood the test of time evolving through many renovations, but none as elaborate as this. We have poured blood, sweat, and not too many tears into our renovations to include demolitions of major structures, new bathrooms, brand new bars, and overall, just giving the place a fresh new look.

MaGerk’s is designed to be family friendly during the day, so feel free to bring the kids in for lunch or dinner. In the evenings we will provide ample happy hour specials appealing to all age groups as well as live entertainment on the weekends via our brand new sound system. Live entertainment will include bands at least once a week and a DJ on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings generating a mix of all genres of music to dance the night away.

Throughout the week daily food and drink specials will be available for all to enjoy to dine on a dime. MaGerk’s will provide Eagles fans with the experience of a lifetime with 30 TV’s on which to watch the games. With 3 bars to choose from and over 30 tables guests should not have a problem finding a seat or cozying up to their favorite bartender.
